Coach Alexis is a 2021 graduate of the University of Virginia, graduating with Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Classics. She is currently in grad school at Duke University.

Before attending UVA, she played for Franklin Academy High School in Wake Forest, NC. There she played three seasons as a DS/libero and setter. Alexis has seven years of club volleyball experience, playing on top national teams as a libero/DS. She has coached at the Firecrackers for four years as an assistant and co-head coach at the National level for ages 16-18. Her expertise is in defense, serve receive, and ball control.
