OUR HISTORY
FC Firecrackers Volleyball Club was founded in 2008 in Franklin County, North Carolina as a means to provide athletes with an affordable opportunity to play volleyball. Over the next years, the club grew to boast eight teams from across all age groups. In 2018, Tom Harris became Club Director and, through his vision, FC Firecrackers has developed into a model of affordable, competitive volleyball in the greater Triangle area. A veteran-owned non-profit organization, FC Firecrackers proudly provides student-athletes of all backgrounds and experiences with opportunities to play and grow in the game of volleyball.
FC Firecrackers has built a legacy of success, achievement, and growth. Since its inception, FC Firecrackers teams have brought home over 100 tournament championships, multiple National qualifications, and top-10 finishes in some of the most competitive tournaments in the country, including Northeast Qualifier and Capitol Hill Classic. Our alumnae have gone on to compete at all levels of collegiate volleyball, from NCAA Division I to NJCAA, and several compete on the club teams at high-academic universities. Our talented coaches are involved with every program offered, from specialized position clinics to our Youth Program and our travel teams. Coaches bring decades of experience at all levels, including collegiate playing and coaching.
Over the years, FC Firecrackers has developed into a local and regional leader in girls volleyball, providing athletes and families with opportunities that are both competitive and affordable.
OUR VISION
Our success is a product of our athletes. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, FC Firecrackers is committed to creating an environment in which every athlete that comes through our doors can grow, as volleyball players, as students, and as people. We value teamwork, learning, work ethic, respect, courage, and character. Using volleyball as a tool, we provide our student-athletes with learning experiences that go beyond the classroom and carry into life after volleyball.
We strive to meet players where they are and provide them with the tools and opportunities to develop into all-around student-athletes. It is our goal to assist each and every athlete to reach their individual goals within a team setting. Not only do we work to build great volleyball players, we emphasize the importance of the all-around athlete: proper conditioning and nutrition, study habits, and character development.
