Julie Poole

Coach Julie began playing competitive volleyball at the age of 10, after watching her older sister play. She decided she wanted in on the action and began playing club ball at the National level, as well as school and sand ball.

She started her coaching career while still a junior in high school, after deciding to take some time off from competitive play. After a small hiatus, Julie accepted a spot on the Brevard College Volleyball team, where she was a leading outside hitter. A set of injuries led her to retire from playing, but a strong desire to be a positive role model for young athletes, and a continued love for the sport keeps her in the coaching role. 

Julie is a photographer and small business owner (Shot by Jules Photography). When not in the gym, you can find her working in the family business, hanging out with her husband Charlie, taking photos, hanging out with friends and family, and snuggling with her dog and cat.

Coach Julie is excited to continue to be a part of the FC Firecrackers and looks forward to continuing to give back to the sport that has given so much to her.
