Lenore McGahy

Coach Lenore began her coaching career after many years of watching her daughters play competitively. Her love for volleyball and a desire to positively motivate young women led her to the Firecrackers when her youngest daughter retired from the sport.

A former high school athlete and martial artist, Lenore’s passion is sports mentality and mindset, guiding girls in retraining their thought process to step up their game on the court, while giving them thought strategies they can also use in all aspects of life. Her mission is to positively change the way girls feel about and treat themselves and each other, both on the court and off. She is a lifelong learner, always trying to find ways to better guide the young women in her life.

When she isn’t coaching, Lenore shares quality time with her husband, family and crazy pups, and you can also find her in her art studio creating, writing and brainstorming, or out in nature.  She is excited to continue to be a part of the FC Firecrackers family, both as a coach and a member of the Board.
