Liz Reif
Coach
Coach Liz has been playing volleyball since she was 10 years old. She spent a lot of her career as an outside hitter, but has spent time as a setter, middle, and libero. She attended Wake Tech in 2011 and played her first year there. Shortly after that, she began coaching and through that, she learned so much more about the game and gained a new perspective of work ethic, hustle, and fire. This experience pushed her to go back to Wake Tech in 2014 to play another season.
Since she completed her playing career 15 years ago, she's brought her learned experiences and passions to coaching. Coach Liz has worked at the middle and high school levels, and with club players ages 14 to 18. In 2019, she began serving as an Assistant Coach at Wake Tech. After 4 years, she was named Head Coach for Wake Tech and has been in the position since 2023. .
Coach Liz loves the game and the impact it can have on young athletes. She believes it is a true blessing to take part in athletes' journeys. Coaching allows her to follow her passion for caregiving and serves a greater purpose for athletes. .

Coach Liz spends most of her free time with her wonderful family, her husband Paul and her son, Paul Jr. Together they enjoy all sports: volleyball, golf, tennis, football, and hockey. They are huge hockey fans- Go Canes!
